As far assending the obc certificate is concerned withyour application it willbeclearly mentionein the form about all details relatedto it.
So read it carefully.
Ifthey ask to send it then you can attach the photocopy ofone others you only need to mention and they will checkit duringcounselling

this is important to submit sc cast certificate with online application form

it is necessary to submit non-criminal certificate to attach with obc caste certificate

all these certificates are generally asked during counselling session and not during the application of the form.
But if incase they ask for attaching such documents than you are required to do so

it is not comuplsory to attach obc caste certificate because they need this certificate at the time of counselling.

OBC certificate is generally of two types
one is issued by State government and other by central government.
So in the brochure there will be mentioned that which one is needed.
If a format is given you can make your certificate on that basis.
Generally you need not to attach the obc certificate along with the application form

i am an obc candidate .if by chance i am not able to get my new obc certificate ready by the time of counciling will my selection be rejected?

no it is not required to send obc certificate along with the application but you will need that in original at the time of counselling.

maine iitjee application me obc [cl] show kiya hai parantu yadi mai certificate nahi bana paya to kya mujhe general catagary mai counselling and addmission ka chance milega ?

It is not required to submit any OBC caste certificate for IIT-JEE application form.

You just need a tick mark in the catagory column.
And you can show the orignal OBC certificate and the xerox copy at the counseling (which is isssued/renewed within 6 manth of the councilling date.

OBC certificate is only required at the time of counseling, no need to send along the application form.
Also you will be given OBC quota if you belong to non creamy layer.

you are apply for the IIT-JEE exam if are written in the application form you are under OBC category so it is complsary to you attach a copy of your OBC caste certificate with your application form ..

Otherwise their are two case occur:
1. Your form will be rejected due to incomplete document .
2. You can not enjoy the facility of the free quota avialible for the OBC candidate ..

question- i m having my obc certificate in my local format as issued by bihar govt. this is in hindi language which also prescribing my parents income. but iit obc format given in brochure is in hindi and in it there is no any column prescribing parents income. will it acceptable?

During examination time you do not need to carry your OBC certificate

During counseling you will have to show this OBC CERTIFICATE

1.You should pass 12th standard examination with minimum 50% marks
2.You should have PCM in your 12th standard exam.
3.You should carry minimum 50% marks in PCM

I belong to OBC(CREAMY LAYER) but while registration(online) i have filled it as OBC(NCL).So I can't produce the OBC(NCL) certificate in the format issued by IIT this year-

OBC is not required to be attached in the form but it must be mentioned in the place where your caste is required to be mentioned in the application form of iitjee as your ranking can be counted in OBC Quota approved by the government.
