I am 24yr old. I have finished my B.B.M.
Till what age I am eligible to take IAS exam?

your eligible for the upsc exams.if your interested apply for the exam.

minimum age limits : 21 - 30.

The candidate have a graduate degree in any recognized university.Those in

the final year students also eligible for the exam.The candidate must have

attained 21 years of age on August 1st of the year of examination and must

not have attained 30 years of age on that date. The upper age limit will be

sir,
i want tell you that htere is age limit for IAS exam.you can apply for IAS within 21-30 year at the year of exam.
you should also have bachelors degree of recognised university.I also want to tell you that no. of attempts also limited for the cadidate.
OBEstudent attempts seven times and there is no limit for SC/ST student.

Dear,
The age limit for IAS exam is 21 years and not be over through 30 years on august 1 of the year of examination.so you must have give the IAS exam in 24 year of age.

Hello friend,
If you belong to general category, the maximum age limit to appear for the exam is 30 years.
If you belong to SC/ST category, the maximum age limit is 35 years
If you belong to OBC, the maximum age limit is 33 years.

You must have attained minimum 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.


The upper age limit is relaxed in some specific cases which i have attached in pdf format in detail.please find the attachment .

IAS Age Limit

Age limit is different for different category candidates. They are as follows:-

General Candidates:-
Age Limit: 21 - 30 years

OBC (Non Creamy Layer):-

Age Limit: 21 - 30 Years

SC/ST:-

Age Limit: Relaxation of upto 5 years in the standard limit of (21-30 years).

Physically Challenged, but belongs to general category:-

Age Limit: Relaxation of upto 10 years in the standard limit of (21-30 years), depending upon the percentage of disability. Physically Challenged candidate must have at least 40% disability.


Physically Challenged + Backward Community (SC/ST/OBC etc.):- Age Limit: Relaxation of upto 10 years in the standard limit of (21-30 years), depending upon the percentage of disability. Physically Challenged candidate must have at least 40% disability.


NOTE: Deaf, Blind, Handicapped etc. all comes under physically challenged, and are liable for relaxation upto 10 years

you are absolutely for IAS and will be eligible upto 30 years of age if you comes under general category....
for SC/ST age relaxation is upto 5 years, and for physically challenged its 10 years.

A Brief About IAS(Civil Services Exam 2011)

Educational Qualification:-
Must hold a degree of any Discipline from any Recognized University.

Age Limits:-
Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.(This is For IAS 2011 & For Next year Exam it will be different )

Attempts:-
For General Category :- only 4 times.
For SC/ST:- Any Time under the Above age Limits.
For OBC:- Only 7 times.


For above Information, You must have got that You are Eligible But it doesn't mean You can give any times. You are Limited to only above Mentioned attempts for particular Category.

The upper age limit -


If you are belong to SC/ST, Then you will get Maximum 5 year Age Relaxation.

Maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes.

Maximum of 5 years if the candidate had been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir

And for Blind and Handicapped Candidates, Maximum 10 year age relaxation is allowed.



The age Relaxation is not allow for General Candidates.

So, if you are General Candidates, And you are interested to apply for IAS exams, Then your age should between 21 to 30 years.

Hi

The candidate applying for the IAS exam should have age between
21 to 30 years. There is a relaxation in age for the reserved category candidates as given below:

For SC/ST candidates
If the candidate is belongs to SC/ST category then there is a
relaxation in age of 5 years.

For OBC candidates
If the candidate is belongs to the OBC category then there is a
relaxation in age of 3 years.

For EX-SERVICEMEN
If the candidate is EX-SERVICEMEN then there is a
relaxation in age of 5 years.

So the above age limit is required for the IAS exam for different
category candidates.

Age limit criteria for IAS examination is:

1. age limit is 21-30 years for general category.
2. For OBC it is 3 years i.e upto 33 years of age.(7 is the number of attempts permissible for OBC candidates.)

A general Category student you are eligible upto the age of 30 years, to apply for IAS
There are some relaxations as well offered for the candidates of SC/ST, OBC, J& K
please have a look below if you belong to any category::
OBC's - maximum 3 years relaxation in age
SC/ST- maximum 5 years relaxation in age
J&k - a maximum of 5 years if the candidate had been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during the period between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989
PD - a maximum of 10 years in the case of blind, deaf-mute and orthopaedically handicapped candidates.
PD stands for physically disabled._for 40% and above disability
for general category number of attempts is limited to 4 attempts
for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST it is no limit.

Hi...well the eligibility criteria is that you must attain the age of 21-30 years and in addition to that you must be a graduate from a recognized college.Yes you can opt for IAS officer post.

the UPSC has some strict protocol to follow regarding the students.

IAS exams are conducted by UPSC as civil services exams.
Yes you are eligible as per the Age limit eligiblity criteria:

Age limit for UPSC IAS EXAM:
21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, in which a candidate is appearing.
Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

IT IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC .THE NAME OF EXAM IS CALLED CIVIL SERVICE

Age limits :

if you are from open category Age must be under 30.

I am 24yr old. I have finished my B.B.M.
Till what age I am eligible to take IAS exam?


The IAS exam which is known as the Civil Services exam is conducted
by UPSC in every year. It is the government body to select the top
brain of India. To apply IAS exam you must be age between 21 to 30
years at the time of appearing of examination. The age relaxation for
the reservation category student is given below :

Age Relaxation :-

. For SC/ST category :- the upper age
relaxation upto 5 years i.e the age must be between 21 to 35 years.

. For OBC category :- The upper age
relaxation upto 3 years i.e the age must be between 21 to 33 years.

. For Physically handicapped category :-
The upper age relaxation upto 10 years i.e the age must be between
21 to 40 years.

If you 24 years old then you are eligible for the IAS exam.

The eligiblety to take admission in IAS is that ..

Qualification ; Minimum any bechlor degree.
Age : General: 21 to 30 years .
OBC/SC/ST: 21 to 35 years
Naitionality : Indian .

General Candidates:-
Age Limit: 21 - 30 years

OBC (Non Creamy Layer):-
Age Limit: 21 - 30 Years

SC/ST:-
Age Limit: Relaxation of upto 5 years in the standard limit of (21-30 years).

Physically Challenged, but belongs to general category:-
Age Limit: Relaxation of upto 10 years in the standard limit of (21-30 years), depending upon the percentage of disability. Physically Challenged candidate must have at least 40% disability.

Dear,

The age limitation for the IAS exam is as follows:-

--> 21-30 years for the general category.

--> 21-35 years for the SC/ST.

--> 21-33 years for the OBC.

The minimum educational qualification required is to be a graduate in any field.

General categories get 4 , while SC/ST get unlimited while OBC get 7 attempts to clear the exam.

not have attained 30 years of age on that date. The upper age limit will be
relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. The
upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of certain categories of civil servants
working under the Government of India and Defense Services Personnel.

Eligibility Criteria For IAS

(i) Age limits :

21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para

(ii) Educational Qualifications :


Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification (Para 3(iii) of Notice).

dear sir

lower age limit for appearing IAS exam is 21 years.

and the upper age limit is 30 years .

and to appear for the IAS exam you must be the graduate student from the recognized university.

Hello,

Age limit to apply for IAS(Indian Administrative service)

* candidates should have age limit within 21 to 30 years.
* Candidates have relaxation for OBC candidates for 3 years.
* Candidates have relaxation for SC/ST candidates for 5 years
* Candidates should complete graduation from recognized university

Attempts:

* General category candidates - 4 attempts
* SC/ST category - No limit
* OBC category - 7 attempts

hi dear
If you are belong to SC/ST, Then you will get Maximum 5 year Age Relaxation.
Maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes.
Maximum of 5 years if the candidate had been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir
And for Blind and Handicapped Candidates, Maximum 10 year age relaxation is allowed
The age Relaxation is not allow for General Candidates.
So, if you are General Candidates, And you are interested to apply for IAS exams, Then your age should between 21 to 30 years.

About IAS exam

Age limit:
21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing.
Maximum 30 for general category,
33 for OBCs and
35 for SCs/STs. Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years exemption from the prescribed age limit.
(The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University, which extract must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate).

u should be a graduate from a recognised college in india and ur age limit should be between 21-30 years..then u are eligible to give the civil service exams (IAS)..u have a maximum of 4 attempts..
