CMJ University is AIU member? One of my friend told that the university which is a member of AIU is only valid for through out India

At present, Whether the CMJ University in Meghalaya, Shillong has been approved by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or not?

One of my friend told me that, Private Universities offering degree which are not recognized by AIU are not valid in other states of India, rather than the degree is valid only in the state where the University is situated.

C.Mothilal Jawaharlal university- CMJ University is the first private university of Meghalaya.
As you have mention that you can't find CMJ university in UGC recognized list then do check it again because CMJ university is UGC approved.

CMJU is a private university located in Shillong, Meghalaya and established through a State act called as "CMJ University Act, 2009" in the State of Meghalaya, India. The University has signed an MOU with the Institute o Accountants of India.

CMJ university is not fake,that is true but it won't take much time before it is derecognized by UGC. Those who r claiming to give u genuine marksheets of CMJ university are big cheats and will give you fake certificate which won't be verified by cmj university or any other govt. body.u may well end up in a jail for fraud(under sec-420).CMJ university's certificates are being printed ol over india,which are fake.they will give you 74-80 percent without ny xams too.BEWARE. they r cheats,mthr fckrs,just inform this to police as soon as possible whenever u see such claims.BEWARE.
