As per the latter of approval forwarded to C M J University by University Grant Commission (UGC), M.Phil and PhD Degree degrees awarded by the university will be recognized by the commission as long as the Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree is followed by the University.

CMJ University is recognized by University Grant Commission and Government of Meghalaya. The University is not approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer technical programs including Master of Business Administration.

i did ph.d from cmj university as per regulation 2009. my award eligible notification published on 14th march 2013. lastly some cases are going on and i have been called by govt of meghalaya for hearing after i prayed govt of meghalaya to consider my degree as valid as per supreme court verdict. now i am under tense about my degree. what will b for the ph.d degree holdres future (like me). will these ph.d degrees b considered as valid.
