Each Zonal Department has different Notification date for Recruitment.
Its Exam date has been passed for this year.
Its Exam has been taken on 14th September 2012.
At present there is no current Notification for this Exam.

In order to get the latest job updates in Indian Post Office ,you will have to check Regularly to http://www.indiapost.gov.in

But in order to appear in IPO(Assistant) Exam,you will require the following Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:-

>>You must be Intermediate/10+2 pass out from Recognized board/university.

>>You must have Hindi as a Necessary subject in Matric.

>>English should be your compulsory subject in class 10 and 12.

Marks:-

>>Your marks in class 10 & 12 should not be less then 60%.

Age:-

>>Your minimum age should be 17 years.

>>Your age should not be above 27 years.

Syllabus for this Exam:-

>>Reasoning Ability.
>>English Grammar.

>>Numerical ability.

>>General Knowledge.

Total number of questions will be 100.

Total number of questions per sections will be 25.

Total Marks for this Exam will be 100.

When will be the Postal Assistant Exam?

Postal Assistant Exam recruits candidates for vast vacancies in India. Postal assistants conducts vacancies for sorting assistant. Below are the brief details about process, eligible criteria and how to apply.

You must be in between 18 to 27 years of age. Your age limitations are relaxed for SC/ST and OBC students. i.e 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST. Also marks have been relaxed till 45% for SC/ST and 50% for OBC and its fixed for General candidates i.e 60%

Syllabus and pattern of it's exam consists of General knowledge, mathematics, English and reasoning & analytical ability. Number of questions will be 100 for which you have to answer in 120 minutes.

How to apply:

Now you will be wondering how to apply for it: HPO i.e Head post offices and Identified postal offices in your circle will be authorized to sell application form for PAR which will cost you around 50.

Examination fees will be 200 rupees. you have to obtain the recipt for that and dully filled application should be submitted along with UCR/ACG recipt before the dead line.

This year advertisement for 2012 notification dated was 11th August. Last date of sale of it's application was 25th/Sept. Last date of receipt of completed form was First of October.

It will be conduct on march and it will depend upon governament sectors.

hi sir i wrote my name in aplication form as prasana laxmi ,but in tenth certificate it is laxmi prasana...what shuold i do(they have not mentioned in the booklet as per tenth satandard they only mentioned as name surname so i have submitted as prasana laxmi..............
