The postal assistant recruitment exam date is not yet confirmed. Government of India recruits postal assistants and sorting assistants in the postal circle. Duties of postal assistants mainly includes receipt and registration of Dak, noting and drafting, disposal of dak. Advertisement date was 11th of August. Last date of sale of its application was 25th of September. Last date of receipt of completed form was 1st of October.

Department of Posts conducts the examination for Postal Assistants.

The date of examfor this year i.e.2012 has already been expired.

It was conducted in the month of October this year.

Eligibility criteria for Postal Assistant exam-

10+2 with 60% marks from a recognised board.

English should be a main subject.

The candidate should have studied local language of the state or union territory or Hindi in matriculation.
