Computer Science Engineering Student can apply for the various branches of the Indian Air force through the University Entry Scheme. The various branches in which a computer science engineering student can apply and the eligibility for that branch is mentioned below.

1.Flying branch
A student can enter in the flying branch of the Indian air force as an engineer. The eligibility criteria to enter into this branch is mentioned below:

Age
19 to 23 years

Gender
for men only

Educational Qualifications:
1.Graduate or the student who have completed their engineering will apply for this course.
2.Final year student of engineering are also eligible for this course.


2.Technical Branch
As an engineer a student can apply in the technical field of Indian Air force where they have to work on various equipments.
The eligibility needed to apply for this field is mentioned below:

Age
18 to 28 years

Marital Status
Candidates below the age of 25 years should be Unmarried.

Gender
Applicable to both men and women.

Educational Qualification
BE/B.Tech, student in final year of engineering will also apply for this.


So a computer science engineering student can apply for the various branches in Indian Air force.

So, please purchase some good Books from the market, which covers all these sections and keep practice these section regularly, only then you will be able to clear this exams.

the syllabus for AFCAT exam are;

1. Reasoning
2. Numerical ability
3. Verbal ability (English)
4. General Awareness, GK
5. General Aptitude

IAF:

Candidate should have completed a Three-Year diploma from a Government of India recognized Institute / Polytechnic, with minimum 50% marks in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunications or Aeronautical or Ship Building or Instrumentation Engineering or Metallurgy or in any other subject as advertised in employment news.

Age limit:Your age must not be greater then 22 years at the time of training for it.

In Air Force After B.tech you can get a post of Technical Officer through SSC- Women
you can refer from yesterday Tribune
OR
You can get a job of Lieutenant after completion of the training period their is special exam only for B.tech passed students but your degree should be of 60% then you are eligible.

You go in Air force it's good for you. In Air force few opportunity for Technical student.You apply for cds exam which conducted by upsc . Throw this exm you go in 2 way for Indian Air force.
1.Air force academy,
2.Official training academy.
Eligibility criteria for this exam:-
1.For Air Force Academy: Degree of a Recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering.
2.For Officers' Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
Age limit:-
1. Air Force Academy:19-23 year.
2.Officers' Training Academy:19-25 year.
Scheme of examination:-
All question are objective type.
Subject:-
1.English,
2.G.K.,
3.Elementary math.
You also go throw Afcat(Air force common admission test) exam which conducted by Indian Air force Academy.
