For that you have to appear in Lateral entry exam..

The exam is held on state basis..
After clearing the exam you will get a rank card, depending on the rank card you can take admission in B.tech..

So, don't worry you just go for the lateral entry exam.. After that you will get a chance to take admission in B.tech 2nd year directly..
You have to give the exam on the subjects in which you have done your diploma..
