Admission in B.Sc Agriculture is possible without ICAR score?

I completed plus two in Science stream with 91%. I'm interested in studying agriculture. But I did not apply for ICAR due to some problems. Now what I should do? After B.Sc Agriculture what are the possible jobs?

ICAR stands for Indian Council of Agriculture Research. This is an autonomous body under Ministry of Agriculture. For admission in government agriculture college, it conducts ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission.

Students who have not applied for ICAR exam can apply for admission based on percentage of marks in 12th. Both PCB and PCM subject group candidates are eligible for the exam. B.Sc agriculture candidates have good job opportunities in state and central agriculture organizations and universities.

As far as you are concerned about the possibility to admission in B.Sc. ( Bachelor of Science ) in Agriculture degree course without ICAR course then it is certainly possible if you have applied for State CETs or various admission test held by universities like BHU, CUCET, etc. .

As far as you are concerned about the job opportunities available after pursuing the B.Sc Agriculture degree course then for your information I would like to let you know that the same degree course has more career options associated to it as compared to a basic bachelor degree course.

Yes, other than ICAR you can appear for examination conducted by Banars Hindu University, Punjab Agriculture University and other private institutes to get admission.

ICAR AIEEA is only mandatory for candidates who want to get admission in government colleges mostly central government.

Admission in most of the institutes is conducted on the basis of qualifying in entrance examination.
