Please let me know how to get admission into one of the IITs for B.Tech courses by a student of Nepal. He wants to get admission from the session beginning 2010.

there are certain seats which are reserved for foreign students.just go through the website given below

i) Relaxation to the extent of 5% in the minimum marks will be given to the nominee of Nepal Government/Royal Government of Bhutan.

ii) This relaxation will be counted in determining their eligibility for admission only.

i you want to join the iit,then you have to write for iit jee exam conducted every year,and there is some quota for the foreign student.you should crack the iit jee and then on the basics of your rank in iit jee,you can take admission in iit,

yes ofcourse you are eligible for it, but you have to give test of iit. after then you have to get admission in iit.

Yes he will get admission if he crack the IIT exam.So get the application form and sit for the exam first.

Forms will be available in the website www.iitk.ac.in,get it online and fill up the form.

Dear Friend,
U must get chance through all over engg, entrance exam.
u may sit IIT-JEE or AIEEE,then after councelling u may get chance in any IIT or NIT.
these exam r coducted all over India so, dont worry .
study properly.

Hello friend!

You have to attend the IIT-JEE exam, for that you have to apply for this exam. Syllabus is that what you have studied in +1 and +2. You have to get good marks that which qualifies you to one of the IIT's. You have foriegners quota and you must fulfill the eligibility criteria given by the IIT academy council. to take admission in IIT you have to appear in IIT entrance examination and you have to secure a good position in the examination. you may appear in AIEEE. some student also get chance from this examination to take admission in IIT. i will suggest appear in both examination and make a good position. after that choose the best IIT and take admission there. best of luck.

Yes , u are eligible for IIT entrance exam.
You are eligible under foreign student category for Btech courses.

i had complited BE frm nepal i m nepali citizen wht are procedure to apper in GATE exam.pls.advice

You must clear iit entrance exam to get into it.So that yov can join iit.

To get admission in IIT you just have to qualify the IIT exam.You region does not matter here.So you should concentrate on your fundamental skills.

why you are asking here? If you know the mailing address of you target institute, you can write to them directly. Anyway, it is them who decide your elligibility.
Every reputate institutes take some international students. But, what do you mean by reservation? are you son of their uncle? If you are nepali, it is funny thing to ask; as you are asking for like Dalit quota. Are you nepali or indian student residing in Nepal?
