Admission in PSG college is possible through JEE Main or appearing in TANCET is mandatory?
My son is appearing for jee mains 2016 and wants to join PSG for engg. Can he get a seat thru mains or needs to appear for Tancet too? What percentage of seats are allotted to students of other states.

PSG College of Technology is affiliated to Anna University. Admission is done through norms of Anna university which is as below:
>>You will have to apply for Anna University Counselling called TNEA counselling on basis of your 10+2 marks. >>Cut off marks for candidates are calculated on basis of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The rule for calculating cut off marks is done on basis of Mathematics marks /2 plus (Physics+Chemistry marks)/4. Depending upon this cut off, you will be alloted a rank on basis of which in counselling process, you will get admission in B.Tech. This is process of admission in PSG for B.Tech. There is no need to appear for TANCET. |
