Well i am giving maths compartmental exam in march 2016 because i failed in my first attempt of compartment in july. Can i eligible for jee main 2016?
And if i am eligible then what i fill up in jee main form?
12th marks or appearing?

You can apply for Joint Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE for undergraduate courses in engineering.

JEE has two stages JEE Main and Advanced. While filling the application form, you can mention that you are appearing for board exams but your compartment results must be declared before JEE main results.

You are eligible to appear for JEE Main Exam but you will have to choose as a 'Appearing candidate of 10+2' while filling the online application form.

As you will be appearing for compartment exam of Mathematics next year, so you are still appearing for 10+2 Board Exam.

Simultaneously, you can appear for JEE Main Entrance exam.

Exam Pattern:

• Duration: 3 hours
• The question paper consists of 90 objective questions with each 30 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• For each correct answer, candidate is rewarded 4 marks.
• While for incorrect answer, -1 mark is rewarded.
• JEE Main Exam is conducted in Online (Computer Based) and Offline Mode (Pen Paper based).
