AFCAT exam stands for Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted to join these:
Flying Branch Technical Branch Ground Duty Branch Eligibility Criteria: Flying Branch Age limit is 20-24 years. Education Qualification: Graduates in any stream from a recognized university with 60% marks and have passed math and physics at 10+2 level. Technical Branch Age limit is 20-26 years Education Qualification: Aeronautical Engineering(Electronics) Aeronautical Engineering(Mechanical) Engineering degree from a recognized university Ground Duty Branch Age limit is 20-26 years. Education Qualification:Graduate degree with a minimum 60% marks from a recognized university. You must be physically as well as mentally fit. It is the Air force Common Admission Test.
Let us give you the complete details for the exam. Starting with the eligibility- > Ground Branch : The candidate have the P.G or Bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 60% and The Age should between 20 -27 yrs. > Flying Branch : The candidate should have a minimum 19 - 23 yrs.The candidate must have the B.E/B.Tech Degree or graduate in any discipline with the minimum 60%. > Technical Branch : The candidate should between have 18 - 28 yrs of age and should done Aeronautical Engineering with minimum 60% marks. The exam is held two times in the year. One in or around February and the other in or around the October. After the exam, you will be called for the SSB interview. SO, if you are thinking of the AFCAT exam, then you should aim at both the knowledge and physical strength. As far as the syllabus is concerned, it includes- - Reasoning - Verbal ability - General Awareness - Numerical ability - General Aptitude. |

Indian Air Force conducts Entrance exam AFCAT.
Air Force having three branches Flying Branch , Technical Branch , Ground Duty. Eligibility Age limit Your age must be between 19 to 23 years of the examination year. Qualification Flying Branch : You must have bachelor degree in B.E/B.Tech with 50% aggregate from recognized university Technical Branch : You must have bachelor degree in Mechanical , Aeronautical or Electronic Engineering with 50% aggregate from recognized university Ground Duty : You must have bachelor degree in any discipline with 50% from recognized university. AFCAT Syllabus - General Awareness - Verbal Ability In English - Numerical Ability - Reasoning & Military Aptitude Test Exam Pattern Total Question : 100 , Each have 3 Marks & 1 Marks deducted for wrong answer under nagative marking system Time Duration : 2 Hours Selection AFCAT qualified candidates called at Air Force Selection Board for testing. Stage 1 : Screening Test Stage 1 qualified candidates will be eligible for Stage 2 testing. Stage 2 : Psychological Test , Group Test & Interview conducted for consecutive 5 days. Stage 3 : For Flying branch , Pilot Aptitude Battery Test is conducted.
