The minimum qualification required for a candidate to do M.Tech Petroleum Engineering is a B.Tech or B.E degree in chemical or petroleum engineering. A candidate who has completed B.Sc in marine technology would be able to pursue M.Tech in Petroleum Engineering. The student can also apply for the course if he or she has attained an M.Sc degree in Chemistry. Petroleum Engineering is one of the in-demand engineering degrees because of the growing number of oil manufacturing companies. This trend is set to be there for some time now.
