I am wishing to do M.Sc in Electronics in distance education, so after completing my distance can I write the gate exam or not?

Yes, you can appear for GATE after the master degree. The examination is conducted by IIT or IISc for admission of candidates in master of technology course.

The eligibility to get admission in course is that candidate must have passed B.Tech/B.S/B.E or master degree in science or computer application from recognised university.

So, you are eligible to appear for examination and after qualifying in entrance examination eligible for admission in M.Tech course.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This examination is conducts by IITs Every year for candidates who wish to join PG courses in top colleges.

For GATE examination candidate must have bachelor degree from a recognized university. There is no percentage of marks and age limit required for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

As per my knowledge yes you are eligible for GATE examination after completing distance M.Sc in Electronics.

After completion of M.Sc in Electronics in distance mode, you can apply for GATE entrance exam but your degree must be recognized.

If you have completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science from a recognized University, then you are eligible for GATE exam. There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam. You can apply any number of time.

I've done diploma mechanical engineering and BE from Correspondence i.e. distance learning from EIMSR New Delhi. I am having total 11 years experience in job.

I have completed my msc in comp science can i write gate exam with electronics subject
