Dear friend,


After Masters degree , you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university.

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

ABOUT NET EXAMINATION -

NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and this examination is conducted by UGC Twice in a year, the examination was held in June and December Every year.

The June NET Examination was already completed and December NET Examination Notification was already Published in the UGC Website, The last date of apply for NET Examination was 25/Oct/2011, The examination was Going to be held on 24/Dec/2011.

To apply for this examination you need to complete your Post graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university with minimum 55% marks, Final year post graduate candidates are also eligible for NET Examination.

Eligible candidates may apply for Lectureship Post OR Junior Research fellowship Post in NET.

There is No Age Eligiblity to apply for Lectureship Post, But for JRF Post your age should not be More than 28 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for Other reserved categories, there are 5 Year relaxation is applicable for SC/ST Candidates and 3 Year relaxation is applicable for OBC Candidates.

AGE LIMIT
Junior Research Fellowship:
Not more than 28 years .
A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants.

Lectureship:
There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility.
so you can surely apply for lectureship .If you are applying for Junior Research Fellowship verify your age .

UGC NET exam held twice a year, in the months of June and December for JRF and LECTURERSHIP .

Eligibility:- Post graduation in any subject with 55% from any recognised
university.

Age limit:- for jrf maximum 28 year and no upper age limit for lecturership.
