For LecturerShip (UGC NET exam): Minimum 19 years . No upper age limit.

• The Maximum age of the person who are working as a college lecture in Government is 62 year old
• In Andhara Pradesh: upper age limit to 39 years from that of 33 years for the posts of lecturers

in government its limit is up to 62 years..
in private colleges if you are a bundle of knowledge there is no age limit.

In order to become a lecturer you have to pass out the National eligibility test conducted every year by the UGC.

And i would like to tell you that there is no such limitation on age as you can give the exam if you fulfill the above mentioned at any age :

* You must have completed your post graduation with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized college / university.

* If you are in final year of post graduation , then also you can appear in the exam.
