Eligibility:


b. For the post-graduate (LL.M) programme - To be eligible for appearing in CLAT-2011 a candidate should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST /OBC and persons with Disability)*.

There is no age limit for applying for post-graduate programme.

*Subject to state reservation at the University concerned.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for the Test. But candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission.................

you have asked about LLM(post graduate programmes) but i have also given some information about LLB(undergraduate programmes)

if you are applying for the LLB(undergraduate graduate program) then your age should not be above 20 years of age. An upper age limit relaxation of 2 years is granted for students of the reserve categories as well as students who are disabled.

But if your applying for LLM(postgraduate programme) then you must have LLB degree.

and as you have asked about the age limit for LLM then let me tell you
there is no age limit for applying for LLM (post-graduate programme).

ELIGIBILITY FOR CLAT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Common Law admission Test is conducted for the LLM across
in eleven law schools of India.

The eligibility required for the CLAT examination is given below:

Education Qualification
To apply for the CLAT examination candidate should be 10+2
pass with a minimum of 55% marks.
For the reserve category candidates such as SC / ST / OBC

Common Law Admission Test CLAT, Is Conducted For Admission Into Both LLB and LLM Degree Courses In Law Colleges And Universities In India.


CLAT LLM Eligiblity Criteria -

• You Should Have Passed LLB OR BA LLB Degree With Atleast 55% Aggregate Marks From The Recognised University.

• And Final Year Student Are Also Eligible To Apply For CLAT LLB Examination.

Your age must be below 20 years to write CLAT LLM entrance test.
For sc/st candidates there is a extra 2 years( ie 22 years)

CLAT LLM
Eleven National Law Universities conduct a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT LLM) for the admission into the LLM Programme. The duration of the course is two years. National Law Universities are the leading Universities in India.

1. The essential requirement for the candidates to apply for the Common Law Admission Test for LLM is to have a LLB or BA LLB graduation Certificate. The general candidates should have passed their LLB with 55% marks in aggregate from any recognized University and the SC/ST/OBC candidates need 50% marks. The candidates should also have 50% marks in their Higher Secondary Examination.

sir my age is 20 and i want to give clat exam 2012...am i eligible for this exam

I wil appear for 12th in march/april 2012 and qualifying exam is 10th. While submitting the online registration for CLAT-2012-13, computer is not accepting my year of birth i.e. 22.06.1995, pl.pl. confirm someone to me, am i not eligible for entrance?????? It is for LLB. Even in broucher, minimum age for applying LLB is nowhere mentioned
