you are eligible to do B.E course after 40% in PCM in 12th, because the eligibility criteria for the B.E is that the applicant should have completed 12th with PCM, but you need to crack and secure good marks in the entrance examination for the admission.

For engineering admission you should crack one of following examinations:-

>>National Level Engineering entrance exam

>>Indian Institutes of Technology

>>Joint Entrance Examination

>>Joint Entrance Examination Main

>>All India Engineering Architecture Entrance Examination

>>Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test

>>Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam

>>National Aptitude Test.
