i want to know age restriction ti joining cbi,and i have finished 10


+2 and after that diploma in electronis engg.can i join cbi?

Hello friend,
For becoming CBI officer you need to have graduate degree and age between 21-30 for general candidate.
So you are not eligible now but after completion of B.Tech you are eligible for the CBI

A candidate can apply for the CBI through Combined Graduate Preliminary
examination. This examination is conducted by the SSC every year.
A candidate should be graduate in any discipline to apply for this examination.
Since you are not a graduate candidate so you are not eligible to apply
for CGPE examination.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification :-

You must be Graduation courses in Criminology For making Yourself Eligible For CBI.

For Graduation in Criminology in Different University in India you must be 12th passed.

Age Limit
20 to 27 years.

Syllabus: The syllabus for a course in Criminology usually includes - Principles of Criminology, Psychology of Crime, Criminal Law, Police Administration, Forensic Science and Medicine, Juvenile Delinquency, Correctional Management and Rehabilitation of Criminals etc.

Exam to be Written:-
You need to write UPSC Exam i.e CGPE in order to Join CBI.

The age restrictions for joining CBI course is as follows.

20-25 years as on 1st January of the year of examination.

The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of the Scheduled Castes,

Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and such other categories

of persons as may from time to time be notified in this behalf

by the Government of India to the extent and subject to the conditions.

But you must be a graduate for applying in Combined Graduate Preliminary

examination(CGPE) which is an entrance exam for joining CBI. I don't think

your diploma is considered equivalent to degree.

yes, you can join as a CBI officer after graduate in Engineering.

as minimum qualification graduation is require to attain in the UPSC exam.

and minimum 60% marks in Engineering is require to attain in the UPSC exam.

age limit for UPSC exam is 21-29 years.
