Pls guide. My age is 33yrs running i ll complete by october 1st.m i eligeble to appear mpsc pre and post exam dat r going to held on june 10th 2012 and mains on 1st sept .

Now i am doing hotel management....
On the basis of hotel management degree can eligible for mpsc exam?

MPSC eligibility criteria:-


If you are a graduate student in any discipline from a recognized university then you can apply for this exam. Final year students are also eligible.

You can give this exam for the following posts:- Sub inspector of police, state civil services, agricultural services, assistant and sales tax inspector, assistant inspector of motor vehicles, clerical and typists, forest services and stenographers.

You can give this exam for as many times as you want.

Your age should be between 18-33 years.

The upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates is 35 years and for SC/ST candidates is 38 years.

The selection procedure includes preliminary exam and main exam.

i am in final year engineering (e&c).right now im studying in karnataka.but im basically from maharashtra..so am i eligible for writing mpsc exam after my graduation as my university is from different state

The Required Qualifications to appear for MPSC Exam are :

* You must have a Bachelor`s Degree in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* Students in Final Year of their Graduation are also allowed to appear in the examination.

* Your age must remain in between 21-33 years if you belong to General Category.

* There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC Category and of 5 years for SC/ST Category.

Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21years to 33years,

3years age relaxation for OBC Candidates,

5years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection process:-

Preliminary examination,

Mains examination,

Personal interview.
