dear friend,

you are not eligible for TCS . because your 10+2 marks is not above 60%.

the TCS criteria is given below

TCS JOB CRITERIA:-

1) through out 60% and in your 10th, 10+2 th.
2) you have score atleast 60% in b-tech.
3) backlog are not allowed.
4) one year gape are allowed in career.

Yes,you are Eligible for off campus and on campus interview of TCS When you have secure minimum 60% of marks in 10th class,intermediate or 10+2,and B.tech.
other wise you are not eligible for campus interview of TCS.

and also you do not have more than or equal to two years gap between your academics.

You are in a situation here. You have pretty good percentage for your 10th and your B.Tech. But the percentage that you have for your 12th is very low. Most of the companies will look to take in candidates who have been consistent in their academics. A company like TCS will definitely be looking in this angle. Since you have mentioned off campus recruitment, you can send them their resume first and check if they are calling you. Since you are having a good percentage for your B.tech, if you have a genuine reason for the low mark in your +2, there will not be much of a issue for you to get a job in TCS.

can history of arrears students can attend the off campus in tcs.but having above 60%

i am b tech final year student.i got 70% in 10th,12th.and i got 60% in b tech.i have no standing arrears.am i eligible to attend off-campus in tcs,cts.

your xth percentage is good but according to your xiith percentage which is less than 60 you may not be eligible to attend TCS campus interview.

TCS is ofcourse a best place to have your career with.
but TCS expects candidates to have minimum of 60% of marks in their 10th 12th and degree. also candidate should not have backlogs at the time of placements. history of arrears will not create any problem.
as your 12th score is less you will not be eligible for placements in TCS as a fresher but initially join in companies which asks for minimum 55% marks and with that experience apply for TCS later. then you may get job in TCS.

I have 87% in 10th , 73%in 12th and 63% aggregate (3rd yr eng.), but i am 1 year detain in 2nd year.......now i have cleared my all backs and and there are no standing arrears. Would i be eligible for oncampus T.C.S placements in 2012
