In order to be considered eligible for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) to be conducted by Medical Council of India from the upcoming year, candidate must have secured a minimum of 50 per-cent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Apart from having scored 50 per-cent in aggregate, it is also mandatory to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the subjects in the qualifying examination (10+2). However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC category, the required percentage of marks is relaxed upto 5 per-cent.

YOU HAVE 50% MARKS .BUT SC,ST HAVE LESS RESERVATION,

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be held on 5th May 2013

Eligibilty:
12th Pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in subjects Phy, Chemistry and Biology and passing marks in English

AGE- Minimum 17 years

This exam will be conducted by CBSE.
Also note that there will be no AIPMT test in the year 2013

NEET exams will be held in just one stage and there will be one paper with 180 MCQ questions

The minimum marks required is 50% so you are not allowed.
But if you have secured a minimum of 50% or more in pcb then also you are eligible to appear for NEET.
The exam is conducted once a year.
The exam is also very difficult to pass as the medical colleges in India are comparatively low and aspirants manifold. Even there are guys who are preparing for as long as 5 years to get a seat in their desired college.

So you have to practice very hard and study very hard. Also you need to take in lots of mock tests on and practice previous years question paper within the specified time frame.

So try hard and you can do it and crack it..

The Full Form Of NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test.

In order to be eligible for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test , the candidate needs 50% marks in PCB , not 50% marks in overall.

So , if you have 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology altogether. But unfortunately you have 49.6% marks in PCB.

So as far as i am concerned , you are not eligible for the NEET.

However, if you belong to SC/ST Candidates they you need 45% marks in PCB , as they get 5% marks in relaxation to appear in the exam.

This Examination is conducted by the Cental Board Of Secondary Eduucation [CBSE].
Passing this exam , you will get a chance to pursue undergraduate and post graduate courses in medical stream.

If you belongs to resurved category you can eligible for this exam.

For NEET Exam you must have more then 50% marks in inter.

Eligibility criteria for NEET ;

You should have 12th class with minimum of 50% in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. from a recognized board before admission.

Incase of resurved 45% is sufficient.

Age criteria for NEET exam:-

Age should be between 17 -25 yrs
And the number of attempts is 3
