I had a backlog in my 3rd semester, but i have cleared that now in my 5th semester..
Now m i eligible to sit for the IAF entrance exam in my final year if i dont get further backlogs?

don't worry yes you are surely eligible for IAF exam there is not any objection for backlog students if you have done clear ................

then you are eligible for IAF exam and all another exam...........

because only some company see backlog ,most company not see backlog because this may be any cause..............

in government job not see backlog any company ...........


but it should be must clear...................

Yes you are eligible to apply for the Indian Air force after the completion of
your engineering in various branches of Indian Air Force like

Technical Branch

Flying Branch

Ground Duty Branch

So a candidate can apply for the Indian Air force in the above branches of
Indian Air force if they have not any backlog left. Means to say that all the
previous backs should be cleared if a candidate is applying for the Indian
Air force.

You can apply through various entry scheme in the above branches like

CDSE

UES

NCC Special Entry Scheme


For the above entry scheme the candidate should be graduate in any discipline.

It doesn't matter when you clear your backlog(s). In official process, no one cares about it.

What's necessary is you should have cleared all your backlogs before you attend the IAF entrance exam.
In other words, on the date of IAF exam, you should have ZERO backlog(s).

Additional Info: For Few selected posts, there's an allowance on no. of arrears(ie., Max 2)

yes you are eligible for appearing in IAF entrance exam in your final year but you should not have live backlogs while writing the exam.

Sure you will be eligible when you are in the final year. You need to careful in not getting further back logs. Also do make sure that you have atleast 60% aggregate score. Since this is highly competitive exam you must have a good score to be selected from the lot. Also start preparing for the test and interview round.

sorry to say, no back log will be allow before IAF exam.

so if you have already clear the back log then it is ok. otherwise you will not be eligible for Indian Air force.

and minimum 60% marks in btech is required to join IAF.

It doesn't matter that you had Backlogs or not in Defense.

The thing only matter is your Talent in the exam and and at the time of SSB.

So, you must not be tensed about your Backlogs.

MIN 60% in engineering from recognized college.

for flying branch age should not be more then 32 years

It just requires that you don't have any backlogs when applying for IAF ,irrespective of u previously have it or not.
