Eligibility To Do M.Tech After M.Sc.

After the completion of your M.Sc. you can appear for the GATE (Graduation Aptitude Test in Engineering) which is conducted every year for admissions to M.Tech courses in IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, IISc and a few other prominent institutions..

A candidate is eligible for appearing for the GATE Exam only if :-

>> The candidate is a final year student or has already completed his/her B.E./B.Tech in any stream..

>> Candidates who are in their final year or have already completed their degree in dual degree courses or M.Sc.

Nore :- Pre-final year candidates are not eligible for appearing for the GATE Exam..

Also, there is no age limit for appearing for GATE neither there is any restriction on the number of attempts..

1.) score more than 60% in Msc maths.
2.) apply for GATE entrance exam (which is entrance for doing M.Tech from iit's, nit's, n other institutions.
3.) get good score in GATE. this will help you get into top institute or
you can also opt for working with some companies like ONGC on GATE score basis..

Hello dear aspirant, as you are a Maths graduate hence you are definitely eligible for admissions in M.Tech Maths. For this you will have to appear for the Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering. Here are some details regarding GATE.
