I completed B.sc computer science than after that I have done MBA INFORMATION SYSTEM in annamalai university... Am i eligible for MCA 3rd year lateral entry... Pls reply me as soon as possible

Sir I have done M.Sc Information Technology. Can I do MCA lateral entry admission in 3rd year.

Can i join msw 3rd semester and i have complete 1and2nd semester

No it is not possible. How you are thing no one can offers this type option. MCA i.e Master of Computer Application and the duration of course is 3 years. You are asking how can join 3 year lateral entry. No Institution offers this type option and even not introduced in the other countries as well. In India Majority Institutions offers three year Full time MCA or Part Time three year MCA Course. But some demand Universities offers the two year MCA course.

Last year AICTE announces the 2 years MCA course or 3 years MCA course. Now I am going to explain clear picture of the MCA course duration. 2 years MCA course :: Candidate who are completed B.Sc Computer Science, BCA, B.Sc(IT) or equivalent course they can directly join 2nd year of MCA course( Lateral entry). This option only for those who are coming from Computer Science Background. 3 years MCA :: Those who are not have Computer Science background they have to study three year of MCA course. As per your qualification you can directly join 2nd year of MCA course are Possible.
