Yes, Definitely You are Eligible for NET Examination.

NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test and this examination was Conducted by UGC Twice in a year and the examination was held in June and December.

The June NET 2011 examination was Already completed and If you are Interested to apply for NET then please apply for the December NET Examination, The Notification of December NET Examination was Going to be Published soon in the month of September 2011.

>> And You have already completed your MCA and M.sc IT course then you are eligible to apply for NET Examination. So If you have scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduate course then you are eligible for NET.

There is No Age Restriction to apply for Lectureship But for Junior Research Fellowship your age should not be more than 28 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved category candidates.

>> Eligible candidates may apply for NET Examination Online By visit the UGC Website and the examination fees of NET was Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan in SBI Branch.

And after completing MCA Course you are eligible to Opt Computer Science Subject in NET, The syllabus and Previous year paper of NET was Already availiable Online. So please visit the Official website and download the syllabus and please prepare for this examination according to the syllabus so that you will be able to cracked the NET Examination.

1.Min. 55% marks in Masters or in equivalent exams .

2.Appearing candidates can apply.

3.P.hd degree holders whose Masters level Exam had been complied by 19th September 1991 shall be eligible for the relaxation in 5% marks.

4.Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. The candidates whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects in item No. 9, may appear in a related subject.

So if you can satisfy all the above criteria .you are eligible .According to the marks you are eligible .

dear friend,

After M.SC(IT) , you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university.

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

I heard that ugc net exams are containing the objective questions only . They eliminated the subjective type questions. Is it true or not and if it is true is that applicable for computer applications also?. My post graduation is MCA. So what i am asking ?.I am not clear about it. Please someone help me on this topic.

sir only pg marks are considered or intermediate and degree are also considered for applying for net.

Marks in Post Graduation :-

Eligibilty to apply for the UGC-NET exams is:
Post Graduation pass

Eligibility:

You should be a citizen of india.

You should complete the Post Graduation from any recognized university.

You need minimum 55% of marks in post Graduation. 5% of marks relaxation for the obc and sc/st candidates.

There is no upper age limit for the candidate lectureship.

But the JRF candidates the age limit should be between 19 to 28 years.

I am going to fill the application form of DEC 2013 exam, as i am eligible for lect only so i opt the subject engineering science(as I did MCA in 2005).
but there is an error message that engineering science subject is not for Lecturership.
So what can i opt , I dont understand

I Did my bsc interiors design lateral entry from annamalai university. Is my this degree valid as a graduation ?
M i eligible for Msc interior deisgn or mba interior design with this degree ?
please guide
