Am I eligible for UGC NET Exam having done M.Sc in IT through Lateral Entry and MCA with 59%?
I have done M.sc(IT) through Lateral Entry and MCA with 59% marks.Am I eligible for UGC Computer science Exam

Of course ,you are eligible.
The eligibility criteria for NET- 1.Min. 55% marks in Masters or in equivalent exams . 2.Appearing candidates can apply. 3.P.hd degree holders whose Masters level Exam had been complied by 19th September 1991 shall be eligible for the relaxation in 5% marks. 4.Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. The candidates whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects in item No. 9, may appear in a related subject. So if you can satisfy all the above criteria .you are eligible .According to the marks you are eligible . Thank you |

After M.SC(IT) , you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university. Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam. For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree. Part time course are not eligible for NET exam. For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years. For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years. NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance. thanks |

I heard that ugc net exams are containing the objective questions only . They eliminated the subjective type questions. Is it true or not and if it is true is that applicable for computer applications also?. My post graduation is MCA. So what i am asking ?.I am not clear about it. Please someone help me on this topic.

i am final year student m.sc(tech)vlsi design in andhra university . this is not recognised by ugc but my hope is i will studying ph.d in electronics.
i am eligible for ugc net exam ?please anser sir ? which way is suitable for me. |

i have PASSED MCA WITH 54.94% IN 2005.AT THAT TIME I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT PERCENTAGE IMPROVEMENT RULE. NOW I WANT TO APPLY IN NET EXAMS & DISQUALIFY .SO I WANT IMPROVE MY PERCENTAGE NOW OR WHAT CAN I DO?

Yes, Definitely You are Eligible for NET Examination.

University Grants Commission holds the National Eligibility Test for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowships.
Yes, you are eligible with 59% for UGC NET exam. According to the UGC the Eligibility Criteria is : If you have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. Age Limit : Not more than 28 years Examination Fee :
>>Paper - I : It is to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. >>Paper - II : Consist of 50 compulsory objective type questions of 2 marks each based on the subject selected by you. >>Paper - III : Consist of only descriptive questions from the subject selected by you. |

Hi friend,
Yes you can eligible to do the NET exam. NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam conducted by UGC. This exam is award of the Junior Research Fellowship(JRF). Eligibility: You should be a citizen of india. You should complete the Post Graduation from any recognized university. You need minimum 55% of marks in post Graduation. 5% of marks relaxation for the obc and sc/st candidates. There is no upper age limit for the candidate lectureship. I am going to fill the application form of DEC 2013 exam, as i am eligible for lect only so i opt the subject engineering science(as I did MCA in 2005).
but there is an error message that engineering science subject is not for Lecturership. So what can i opt , I dont understand |
