Am I eligible for NIMSET exam if my degree final year percentage is 60%?
my name santhosh
my tenth percectage 68 and inter 68 and am degree final year but i have 60 percentage |

Your percentages are okay. On the basis of the percentages you have mentioned you are eligible for NIMCET. If you did mention you subjects then I could correctly say that you are eligible or not. Well I am here mentioning eligibility criteria of NIMCET so that you yourself can know you are eligible or not.
Eligibility Criteria of NIMCET :- 1. You should pass 10+2 with Mathematics securing at least 60% marks. 2. Minimum 60% in degree from a recognised university with any of the subjects Mathematics Statistics Business Mathematics Mathematics Foundation of computer science Business Statistics Discrete Mathematics Elementary Mathematics Elementary Statistics 3. If you have done a bridge course in Mathematics you will also eligible 4. Those who have earned degree from open university are also eligible if the university is recognised by UGC/AICTE/DEC. So, if you had maths in 10+2 and had any of the above mentioned subject in you degree then you can surely write NIMCET. |

The NIMCET is National Level Entrance Test conducted by NITs for admission to their MCA program. The admission to first year of MCA program offered by all the NITs for the year 2011-12 will be based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET-11.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of (i) 12th level with Mathematics and (ii) Bachelor’s Degree of Full time 3 year duration from a recognized University With any one of a. Mathematics b. Statistics c. Business Mathematics d. Discrete Mathematics e. Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science f. Business Statistics g. Computational Mathematics h. Elementary Mathematics i. Elementary Statistics Students completing 12th from any open universities are also eligible to apply for NIMCET. Course should be approved by UGC/AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India. There is compulsory for student to pass 12th level with mathematics subject and one mathematics subject in bachelor(10+2+3) level One important suggestion to those students who not have mathematics in 10+2 level. They will appear in NIMCET if they pass mathematics paper before the counselling of NIMCET 2011. They give single mathematics exam by any open school like NIOS (national institute of open schooling), state open school board etc. |

Eligibility Criteria of NIMSET :-
Bachelor’s Degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized University with 60% marks with any one of the following as one of the subjects:- 1.Mathematics 2.Statistics 3.Business Mathematics 4.Discrete Mathematics 5.Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science 6.Business Statistics 7.Computational Mathematics 8.Elementary Mathematics 9.Elementary Statistics. Candidate sohuld study Maths in their 10+2. Mode of Examinations- NIMCET examination will be of two hours and question paper will consist of 120 multiple choice questions . NIMCET Exam Pattern :- The question paper will contain 120 multiple choice questions covering the following topics:- 1. Mathematics 45 Questions 2. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning 40 questions 3. Computer Awareness 10 questions 4. General English 25 questions So,You are eligible for NIMSET Exam. |

Yes you are eligible to apply for NIMCET exam you can’t give this year exam you should try to give this exam for the next year. This is National level entrance exam for MCA after this exam you will get admission in the 11 NIT’s across India.

Yes you are eligible to apply for NIMCET exam you can’t give this year exam you should try to give this exam for the next year. This is National level entrance exam for MCA after this exam you will get admission in the 11 NIT’s across India.

If you can apply for the NIMCET Examination. Hello friend .....
The NIMCET entrance exam is for the MCA degree through the NIT colleges .. The eligibility criteria for the NIMCET exam is a minimum of the 60% of the marks in the B.Tech or the B.E degree from any of the recognized universities ... And you should have had maths in the 12th board exam as one of your main subjects ... As you have 60% of the marks in the B.Tech degree so you can definitely apply for the NIMCET entrance exam so best of luck |

NIMCET is a national level entrance exam for admitting the aspirants the masters degree in computer application. Through the exam the aspirant are admitted to the national institute of technology in India. The eligibility required for the exam includes 1. The aspirant should have secured 60% in the bachelor degree. 5% relaxation is given for sc and st aspirants . 2. The aspirant should have chosen mathematics or statistics in the +2. There is no restriction based on the marks in the +2. 3. Aspirants who have done bridge course in mathematics are also eligible. There is no age limit for appearing in the exam. The exam includes question from aptitude and mathematics. The total number of questions is 120. Each question carrier four marks. And negative mark of one for wrong answers. The aspirant can make the application online. The date for the exam is not yet published keep visiting for updates |

my friend to appear in NIMCET exam , one must have to fulfill following eligibility criteria:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation with 60% aggregate. 2.Candidate must have maths or stats in 12th or in graduation.. These are the eligibility one have to fulfill to appear in NIMCET exam. So, As you have 60% aggregate in your degree course then you can go for it. All the best. |

According to the Exam pattern: The question paper will contain 120 multiple choice questions including 1:Mathematics of 40 Questions, 2.Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning of 55 questions, 3.Computer Awareness of 10 questions, 4.General English of 15 questions. NIMSET is a national level entrance test for admission to the MCA course. The candidate is admitted to the National Institute of Technology through this exam of NIMSET.
The candidate must secure at least 60% marks in graduation level with Mathematics as one of subject or Math in 12th level to appear for NIMCET. As you have secured 60% marks in graduation so you are eligible to apply for NIMSET. |
