I HAVE 56.4% IN CLASS 1Oth AND 62.8% IN CLASS 12th AND STUDYING IN BIT MESRA 3RD YEAR. AM I ELIGIBLE FOR PSU EXAMS AND IES EXAMS.

Hi

Since you have low marks in 10th and 60+ marks in your 12th, you are eligible for maximum companies.

Few companies keep 60% through out academic criteria, you wont be able to get into those company.

Most PSU look for 60 and above in your graduation .
Try to score good marks in your graduation as many company take candidates based on graduation marks. You are in good college make the most of it.

To apply for the PSU jobs you have to appear in the GATE exams
GATE exams are conducted by IIT each year

BE/BTECH pass can apply for the GATE exams
Final year BE/BTECH candidates can also apply



Educational Qualifications required to apply for this IES exams is:


>> BE/BTECH pass in any stream
OR
>> Passed section A and Section B of Instution examinations of Institution of Engineers
Or
>> Graduate Membership Examination of Institute of electronics and Telecommunication Engineers

Age-
Minimum 21 years
Maximum 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Percentage of marks obtained in 10th and 12th is not a criterion for PSU/engineering services jobs. GATE qualification is necessary for joining PSU. Also, B.Tech/B.E must be obtained with a minimum of 60-65% marks. Pass in engineering is enough to apply for UPSC ESE exam. Age of the applicat must be between 21 and 30 years.
