hi,

I have secured 67% in 10th, 59.83% in 12th. Now i am a final year student of btech in CSE, with a cgpa of 7.04 upto 6th semester. i have been debarred of 60% in 12th, for a single marks under state board. This has become a matter of worry for me. Am eligible for TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE and other top companies? Please help me out of this chaos.

For TCS eligibility criteria is 60% above in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum TWO years gap are allowed.

For WIPRO eligibility criteria is 50% in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum ONE years gap are allowed.

For ACCENTURE eligibility criteria is 60% above in through out. Backlog candidate are not allowed .maximum ONE years gap are allowed.

You are eligible only WIPRO company.

the eligibility criterion for TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc is candidates should have minimum of 60% marks through out to appear in their recruitment process. that means you should have minimum of 60% marks in 10th, 12th, graduation, post graduation(if any) individually.

but unfortunately you don't have minimum of 60% marks in 12th. just may be one marks less from 60%. if we see about the criterion then you are not eligible for these companies. but as round figure of your 12th marks tends to 60% so may be company may allow you to appear in their recruitment process.

i will suggest you to contact with the every company individually regarding your issue. they will tell you exact details about your eligibility. may be you will be eligible for some company and you will not be eligible for other company. just contact with the company they will help you by giving information.

Eligibility Criteria for Top IT Companies

1) You should have 60% or above in your 10th,12th and B.Tech

2) You should not have a study gap of more than 1 year

3) You should have no backlogs at the time of placement..

You miss out by just a single mark in your 12th percentage..but you can talk it out with the company officials when they arrive for placements or you can talk it out with your college authorities so that they in turn talk it out with the company officials..

There are 90% chances that they will let you sit in the placement exam..

There are good companies which let you sit for the placement if you scored more than 50% in your 10th and 12th like Syntel..

1.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate through out the career.

2.Candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation.

3.Candidate must not have any study gap more than 2 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
As you have secured less than 60% marks in 12th then you are not eligible for any of these software exporter companies..

You can only eligible for TCS and ACCENTURE.You couldn't appear for WIPRO placement activity.Because you must have 60%and above for 10th,12th and U.G

Hi.every company has minimum requirements for selection.But don't think you are out.you have good cgpa in btech.I hope you have good communication skills.if you have good communication skills you are eligible for most companies.you can just opt your college authorities to make you allow into placement sessions.there you can present your talent to get job.All the best.

and for Accenture this time they have asked for 65% throughout academic career.
your engineering CGPA is good and if you can convince your placement officer in your college there might be a chance for you.
your placement officer will speak to the company people and they may consider you for attending the placement selection process.

As your 12 th mark is less than 60 %, so you are not eligible for TCS and Accenture,
BUT yes you are eligible for Wipro,one of the top most IT company in India.
Those having 50% through out career are eligible for wipro.

You marks are average in 10th and 12th and good in graduation.

TCS generally keeps cut off of 60% marks, followed by aptitude and Personal Interview.
Cognizant, wipro, Accenture also keeps cut off as 60%

Wipro also recruit for managerial position and it requires 80% and above.
IBM consider 70% and above.
