B.Arch branch is eligible for IES in UPSC Exam?

Sir,
My friend Sri. S. Arun Deepak is a Final semester (X) student of B.Arch & ID (Interior Designing). Kindly tell that
1) whether he is eligible for writing IES Examinations conducted by UPSC ?

2) If so under which branch he has to write the Exam and what are all the Departments he can be posted?

3) Now his Final semester is going on, all the 9 semesters he passed. With this he is eligible for writing the IES Exam?

4) How can he get the Model question papers?
