B.Sc in Radiology and Imaging Technology or Bachelor of Dental Surgeon which has a broader and better scope?

My daughter got admission to the course of B.Sc. Radiology & Imaging Technology in Christian Medical college Vellore in 2017. She had also got admission to BDS in Kerala. An expert advised that she should prefer Radiology in CMC to BDS in Kerala, since BDS holders are in plenty and seeking jobs in vein. Is it true? Should she continue the course Radiology or change to BDS if she gets admission?

As per my suggestion you can go for Bachelor of Dental Surgeon course rather than B.Sc in Radiology and Imaging Technology. B.D.S. or Bachelor of Dental Surgery is an undergraduate Dentistry course. The duration of Bachelor of Dental Surgery course is four to five years.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Candidate must have passed 12th class in science stream from a recognized board.

2. The minimum age of candidate must be 17 years.

3. The age relaxation is given to reserved category candidate according to their category.

After completing this course you can find out the jobs in given below employment area.

=> Dental Products Manufacturers

=> Hospitals

=> Pharmaceutical Companies

=> Private Practice

=> Educational Institutes
