Can btech biotech students are eligible for fci exam...please tell me whether its true

The eligibility criteria for FCI[Food Corporation of India] exam is DEGREE only & doesnt matter which degree you are holding.You can get the application form for FCI by downloading it from their official website or by postal,from nearby BSNL office etc. Go for it ,apply & then get ready for your exam.Prepare well.ALL THE BEST.

FCI Assistant Grade Consist of four positions and they are General , Account , Technical , Depot . The eligibility criteria is differ from position to position .

If you have completed Graduation degree then you are applicable for FCI exam.But your degree must be recognized .There is not required any kind of percentage marks .

The Applicant age must not more than 27 years and Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories .Age relaxation is provide as per reservation policy .

Yes , B-Tech Biotech student are applicable for FCI Exam.You are applicable in technical field .

Yes you are eligible to give this examination. To know more about this exam please read the information written below.

FCI stands for Food Corporation of India and this exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Committee for the recruitment of Assistant Grade – III. The educational qualification for different post is different.

For AG-III (General) you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. You should know how to operate a computer.

For AG-III (Accounts) you need to have a bachelor's degree in commerce from a recognized university.

For AG-III (Technical) a degree in agriculture is required. You can have a B.Sc degree in any one of the following subjects: Botany/Zoology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science. Or you can also have a B.Tech/B.E. in Food Science/Food Science and Technology/Agricultural Engineering/Bio-Technology from an institution recognized by AICTE.

For AG-III (Depot) you just need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice.

Age Criteria:-

For general category candidates the upper age limit is 27 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for physically handicapped candidates.

Examination Pattern:-

~For General, Depot and Accounts Cadres: Paper I & Paper II.
~For Technical Cadre: Paper I & Paper III.

Paper I Exam Pattern:- General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.

Paper II Exam Pattern:- Quantitative Methods and English Language & Comprehension.

Paper III Exam Pattern:-

For paper III questions will come from: Microbiology, Botany, Bio-Chemistry, Zoology, Bio-technology and Agriculture Engineering.

Generally,FCI works to :

--make food grains available at reasonable prices, particularly to vulnerable section of the society

--maintain buffer stocks as measure of Food Security

--intervene in market for price stabilization



To appear for FCI exam,you must have to satisfy certain eligibility criteria's as follows :

There are 3 exams conducted by FCI.These are :-
~Food Inspector.
~AAO.
~Stenographer.

Eligibility details

For Food Inspector
-->>You should be Graduation/Degree passed out in agriculture/Forestry/Biotech from recognized university.
-->>Your minimum marks should be 60%.
-->>Your age should be between 21 years to 32 years.

For AAO
-->>For this you should have a technical degree along with Diploma/Degree in computer course.
-->>Your minimum marks should be 50%.
-->>Your age should be between 18 t0 28 years.

For Stenographer
-->>You should be Intermediate passed out from recognized board/university.
-->>Your minimum marks should be 50% in 10+2.
-->>Your minimum age should be 18 years and not above 27 years.

Selection process
~Preliminary Exam.
~Mains Exam.
~Interview.

Exam Pattern
~It will include 5 sections.
~Total marks will be 250 .
~Total time duration will be 2 hour and 30 minutes.

FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA

Food Corporation of India conducting exam for 2013 Assistant (Grade III) in General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres.This company is a Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Foodgrain supply-chain management and they organise exam according to the vacancy of the company.

Here let me give you some of the details about this exam:-

>>. Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Government of India, will make recruitment to these posts on behalf of the Food Corporation of India.

>>Age Limit: here age limit as on 01st August, 2012 is 27 years. ie. you should complete 27 years where upper age limit is relaxable.

The exam is divided in to three types :-

1.AG-III (General)

2.AG-III (Accounts)

FCI is Food Corporation of India and SSC conducts examination for Assistant Grade every year for General ,Depot, Accounts and Technical cadre assistant in FCI.

For General and Depot- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University is required.

For Accounts Cadre - Graduation in Commerce is required.

For Technical Cadre-
