B.Tech. syllabus as compared to CDS syllabus
would u like to tell me which one exam i give after B.TECH(MECHANICAL) and what is the syllabus of CDS entrance exam?our B.TECH SYLLABUS WILL consider OR NOT IN CDS EXAM?

cds exam syllabus is same for everyone.there will be a paper on english,GK and maths.no portion of engg is covered in the exam.

If you have a interest in defense you can give the CDS exam. CDS exam has a common syllabus as it is attempted by candidates who are graduates. You can refer to the following link for more details, http://www.upsc.gov.in/general/cds.htm. You can also attempt for Civil Services (IAS/IPS, IFS) if that interests you.

hi,
the cds exam is an general exam and there is no questions asked from any ones specialization, it consists of general studies,English and maths,go for it only if you are interested in armed forces or else if you want to go for field related to your technical knowledge the best exams would be IES ,NTPC,BHEL,and many other psu if you are interested in higher studies then go for GATE all the best |

see, cds is a scheme, through which you can get into the army. and there is no relation between btech & cds. after btech you can join indian army through UES scheme. all the best............ |

hey m persuing b.tech in information technology (IT)
m 3rd yera student is it fine for CDS EXAM. after compliting b.tech how can i apply for CDS EXAM IF GRADUATION IS COMPULSARY then wat is the diffrence between me(b.tech) nd a BA graduate student.......... there is no need to spend money on b.tech...?????????? m a technical student |
