NIFT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

~NIFT stands for National Institute of Fashion Technology. You can give this exam if you want to do bachelor's program and master's program in fashion.

~If you want to do B.Des in Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design and Fashion Communication then you need to to pass higher secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

~For a bachelor's degree in fashion technology you have to do a bachelor's degree in fashion technology then you need to have physics, chemistry and mathematics at 10+2 level.

~There are two tests in the first stage: General Ability Test (GAT) for all courses and Creative Ability Test (CAT) for design course or Managerial Ability Test (MAT) for apparel production, management and technology courses.

~For the GAT exam stress on the following areas: Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Business Domain Test and Analytical Ability.

~NIFT application fee for General and OBC category is Rs. 1100 and for the SC/ST/PHP category it is Rs. 550.
