pls tell me can i do cs(company secretary)course directly after my 12th or shuld i do any additional courses like b.com icwai etc to make my cs career stronger?and also tell me shuld i do any course after cs course and also the best institutes for women in chennai , banglore ,delhi, that offer cs(company secretary)??????????

You can take admission for Company Secretary Course after 10+2. Foundation course is provided for 10+2 pass outs. Company Secretary Course alone is good enough to make a career as Company Secretary. CS stands for Company Secretary.

Course Duration

A candidate needs to clear 3 stages to qualify as Company Secretary and these are:

Foundation Course: The minimum eligibility to gain entry in the Foundation Course is a pass in 10+2 examination or its equivalent in any stream.

Duration: The course is of 8 months.

Intermediate Course: A pass in the Foundation Course Examination of the ICSI/Graduation degree or a Master's degree/Pass in ICWAI, ICAI can allow you entry in the intermediate course.

Duration: The course is of 9 months.

Final Course

On passing the Final examination of ICSI you will need to undergo a practical training after which, you will be completely eligible for the Associate Membership of the Institute.

Fee Structure of ICSI: You need to spend Rs 3,600 for the foundation program. A commerce graduate can pay a fee of Rs 7000 for Executive program and a non-commerce graduate, Rs 7750 for admission to ICSI course.

There are 4 papers in CS foundation Programme

1.English and Business Communication
2.Economics and Statistics
3.Financial Accounting
4.Elements of Business laws and Management

There are 6 papers dived into 2 modules in CS Executive programmer:

Module I:

*General and commercial Laws
*company accounts,cost and management accounting
*Tax Laws

Module II:

*Company Law
*Economic and Labour Laws
*Securities Laws and Comliances

There are 8 papers divided in to 4 modules in CS Professional Programme:

Module I:

company secretarial practive
Drafting,Appearances and Pleadings

Module II:

Financial,Treasury and Forex Management
Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency

Module III:

Strategic Management,alliance and International Trade
Advanced Tax Laws and Practice
