Its really great to know that you have passion to study even after having some difficulties..... just keep it on going... if you can prepare well for a month am sure you can crack C.A, I.A.S or bank exams... but if you feel you have to get through soon then i will suggest to take up bank exams which is very much easy than C.A and I.A.S... am sure you are going to shine in future...... ALL THE BEST...

The age limit for appearing for the banking exam is 30 years. Infact for most Government jobs you have crossed the age limit. But you do have the option to work in private organisations. Also there is no bar in your pursuing further studies. You could probably take up a correspondence course along with taking up jobs like content development, proof reading etc.

Hello,

After graduation in BA in the age of 30 years, according to my opinion you make your career in bank.

But In bank exams there is age limit.....

1. For general candidates = upto 30 years

2. For OBC candidates = upto 33 years

3. For SC / ST candidates = upto 35 years

All the best

if you are belongs to general category then it will be very difficult to get job in government filed if you are 30years old. because in most of the government job the eligibility criterion to appear in the process is candidate must have age between 21 to 30years if they belongs to general category. but there are relaxation for 5years for reserved category candidate. if you are from reserved category then you may try for IAS or other civil service job.

but if you are not eligible for this type of job then and till you are ambitious to do job then i will tell you to learn some professional course then try to get job in private sector. otherwise you may try to start for private tuition to earn some money for your family or some other home based job.

best wishes.

Yes, you are right that these exams no doubt provides you a dignified career but they are tough to compete. But you can try it.

Otherwise you can choose the career related to insurance sector. You can become an Insurance advisor after passing an easy exam & can work freely without any boundation. After 5 years you are able to earn from it as a regular income lifetime.

You can also do the NCFM courses & can work in the share market to earn money.

You can also teach in the playway schools as a teacher to make you more practiceable.

It is very difficult for you to get govt.job because of your age.....Also since you don't have higher qualification and no experience it is impossible for you to get a job now or go for further studies

As you have completed your B.A you may complete your MA first so that you will complete your post graduation. Also if you belong to general category then at the age of 30 you are not eligible to apply for IAS.Your choice of doing C.A. is good one so you can even do that.

It will not be easy for you to get a dignified job after a gap of so many years but do not loose hope.I will suggest you to start with some lower post jobs & after gaining experience & knowledge you may then try for higher post.Side by side you may also complete your P.G.

There will be lot of obstacles on your way but keep on trying hard so that you may acheive your goal.

Actually your graduation degree is fine.
You can get many small packages job with your degree.

But your age may create problem....

but still you can try for some jobs in primary schools as a teacher.

you can also try for bank jobs and IAS if you are from SC/ST/OBC candidates...

That's all I can tell for you...

I would suggest that you can go for IT profession. There is no age limit. And IT is a never ending world. Once you enter in it world is yours. You can explore yourself how much ever you want. Its all upto you. Or you can go for some Software courses. But really speaking its bit difficult to get in it then to get in IT.

Good luck

Hi I am 38 yr old. Have been in IT industry since past 12 yrs. I am frustrated with this industry and planning to do CA. But I have couple of questions. Can someone please clarify?

1. Is it too late start CA course at this age? Are there any such cases?
2. If I start it now and complete it in 4 yrs, how will be career opprtunities at that stage? Do I need to compete with fresh CAs?

Thanks in advance
Kiran
