M.Sc stands for Master of Science. This is a 2 year Post Graduation program being offered by so many colleges in India.

Both M.Sc Zoology and M.Sc Botany are two popular specializations in M.Sc course being offered by many of the colleges in India.

Having completed B.Sc in Agriculture, it is better to go for M.Sc in Agriculture instead of opting for Botany or Zoology.

Because it would help you to gain in depth knowledge in the field of Agriculture that would further help you in the research work or in the job opportunity.

But if you have profound interest to join M.Sc in other fields, you can opt for the same.

M.Sc Botany is a very good choice for you compared to M.Sc Zoology since you have completed your Graduation in Agriculture.

One can get admission for M.Sc Botany course through Entrance Exam.

Each and every University will conduct its own Entrance Exam to give admission for the candidates.

Have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and crack it.

Some of the popular specializations under M.Sc Botany are
Genetics
Forestry
Plant Anatomy
Horticulture
Plant Ecology
Agronomy
Phycology etc.

I believe MSc botany will be a better option for you compared to MSc zoology considering the fact that you've completed your bsc in agriculture.very little about zoology can be taught during your bsc course as it has mainly focused on botanical part so it must be easier and more convenient for you. Moreover zoology and botany both have nearly same future aspects so you should obviously go for the one which you already have some knowledge about.
