which one is better mba or pgdm??? for banking jobs or government jobs??? and pgdm collegs are giving good placements or mba colleges??? i am so confused what should i do

Sir, MBA is the post graduation degree programme on other hand PGDBM is post graduate diploma in business management.

The scope of MBA is very good in india and in the field of banking MBA is the best.

The biggest disadvantage of PGDM is that it is a diploma course and hence you have very limited job opportunities after pursuing this course so i would suggest you to go for MBA which is Master in Business Administration
For getting into a top MBA college,you need to clear any of the following exams
CAT
MAT
XAT
FMS
Symbiosis
getting a good percentile in any of these exams will secure your future with an excellent job with a high salary

i am very confuse about mba and pgdm boz in dec mat entrance exam 2011 almost all college offer for pgdm...so plz plz plz plz telll me which is good mba or pgdm....................................

Its better not to do anything as the eligibility for banks and Government jobs is - Graduation. Its better you join some coaching center and take coaching...

MBA and PGDM are one and the same. One gentlemen above suggests you to do MBA from IIM, XLRI, Symbiosis etc. But, remember all the Best Business likes like above Offer PGDM.

The main difference between MBA and PGDM is only the autonomous status. Both these programs are approved by AICTE. PGDM is nothing but an MBA offered by private and autonomous colleges like IIM, XLRI, Symbiosis, Siva Sivani etc.
