also the book Reasoning by R S Agarwal contain the all aptitude part including verbal, nonverbal, data interpretation(D.I) etc.

some other good books are also available on market for CAT examination you may buy. some study material for good coaching institution for CAT are very much helpful to clear the CAT examination.

CAT verbal section can be cleared by studying the following:
1) Verbal and Non verbal reasoning by R.S. Agarwal
2) Barron's GRE -graduate examination general test 12th Edition.

If you clear the CAT test you read the Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning published by Dr. PC Gupta. You prepare it carefully you are clear the test defiantly.

by Arun Sharma & Meenakshi Upadhyay.

I have attended tcs offcampus exam .
The paper pattern was the same as that of previous papers.
Just go through them it is enough and u have to be very fast in exam as the time will not be sufficient there r around 82 questions i dont remember exactly and u have to answer them in 90 min.

But my opinion is that best book for Verbal reasoning is that GRE by Barron.
