solve as amny problems as you can, also solve all previous years question papers,

definately you will crack the exam, best of luck.

WHICH BOOK TO BE USED FOR PSU PREPRATION FOR ECE

pls suggest any book of general knowledge and civil engg. for the preparation of exam.

the book for the preparation for the IES is not one there can be many books instead collecting books you should take the material from the made easy which will contain all the important books and matter ok take made easy material.ok

ies stands for indian engineering services upsc conducts this exam

pattern is

exam is conducted in two parts:;;;

1.Written Tests

2.Personality Test


1.the written tests consists of 1000 marks

those 1000 marks will be divided into five papers each carrying 200 marks .
First paper consists questions on the General Ability like; General knoeledge current affairs Indian History Geography and english.

and the rest of papers based on optional subjects of which two of them are descriptive and the other two are objective.

there is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for an incorrect answer.

after getting through in written test there is personal interview where they interview on various aspects like spontanity knowledge about society current affairs economy foreign policies leardership capability etc.
