This year SBI has completed the written exam for both PO positions and Clerical positions. The selection procedure for both these positions is by -Written Test -Interview The written test consists of questions from the following categories. -Reasoning -Quantitative Aptitude -General Awareness -Computer Knowledge -General English There is negative marking for the wrong answers. One shoud have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam in order to get through the written test. As per the unofficial information it is revealed that, SBI is going to come for the recruitment for 20000 Clerks. In order to prepare for SBI Clerk Exam, I recommend you the following books. For Reasoning, you can use R.S.Agarwal and Arun Sharma books. For Quantitative Aptitude also, you can use R.S.Agarwal, which is the best book for various competitive examinations. For General Awareness, I suggest you to use -Current affairs of YES publications -Banking Services Chronicle Magazines -Mahindra Magazines In addition to these books, going through daily news papers is very much essential to update knowledge on various current affairs. For Genral English, I suggest you to use Oxford Publications. You can also use other books which are available in the market and which are good for Vocabulary, Grammar aspects and Comprehension.
