Re: Is BSc IT better to get a good salary?
Yes B.Sc IT is a good area which provides immense scope. The job opportunities after completion of B.Sc IT are more in both the sectors. You can apply for many government jobs such as banks, UPSC exams, PSU exams etc. You can also opt for higher studies such as an M.Tech or MBA course. This will enhance your job opportunities. You need to attend the entrance exams for joining the PG courses.

Re: Is BSc IT better to get a good salary?
Now a days specialization in the field is important.
you will get the job after B.SC in IT but for better job/career prospectus you should do Masters in IT. Information Technology industry has grown to a large extent in last few year and it will keep growing in coming years. IT product related industry will also grow in coming years. Our economy is a growing with very rapid speed and it has lot of scope for IT business and for IT products. So there is lot of scope of employment in the field. |

MSCit would be the better option than any other such as mba or mca; because there will not have enough time to study while you are doing job or otherwise you can also it as That is a very strange question. Depends on what is your major and what degree your university awards in that major. You don't get to choose and say I will do major X but I want that other degree. |

Re: Is BSc IT better to get a good salary?
Hi
With BSc IT you can have the following jobs. - you can work in all IT firm as a developer or software programmer - you may apply for government job - you may apply for Banking jobs however, salary after BSc IT would not be much. For example, if you work in IT company such as iGATE patni, TCS, Wipro after BSc, you will get 13-15k per month in the starting compare to 22-24k which a b.tech candidates get. However, your salary increases every year. You can go for higher education such as MBA and then apply for job to increase your pay. You may also do certain short term computer courses like Cloud computing or any course from NIIT. All the best |
