Re: what is the percentage required in class 10 to become a doctor
To be eligible for doctor one has to satisfy its criteri
Its not only percentage which makes eligible to becomr doctor. Age limit, subjects, entrance exam score list etc also required To be a doctor one had to appear for entrance exam and can go by donation fee. Donation fee charges you more.so bettet get admissions through entrance exam. You can appear for:- - DU -BHU -JNTU -JIPMER -eamcet -AIIMS -AFMC - KU Percentage must be minimum of 60% in each subject i.e biology, physics, chemistry. Aggregate Percentage in board would be minimum of 70%. |

Re: what is the percentage required in class 10 to become a doctor
# MBBS stands for Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery
# The marks scored in matriculation are not counted in admission in MBBS course. Also the marks in 10+2 are not counted in admission MBBS course. # Only through a Medical Entrance Test the admission in MBBS course. Not on the basis of marks obtained in intermediate. # Please note that 50% marks in aggregate are required by General category and 45% marks by reserved categories in order to be eligible for Medical Entrance Examination. # You are advised now not to thinking of percentage in matriculation. Just focus on strengthening of basic elementary knowledge in Biology, Chemistry & Physics. # Various universities and institutions conduct medical entrance tests like * AIPMT * AFMC * AIIMS * BHU * AMU * and many other # Candidate had to study following subjects during MBBS Course: * Pathology * Microbiology * Physiology * Anatomy * Biochemistry * Pharmacology |

Re: what is the percentage required in class 10 to become a doctor
No there is no any basic requirement of aggregate in class 10th. As to become a doctor or to apply for the entrance examination conducted by the various Central,State government and private institute for the admission in the Medical college for the MBBS,BDS and other medical course is 10+2.
So to get admission in any medical course as MBBS ,BDS etc. The minimum educational qualification is candidate must have passed or pursuing in 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics , Chemistry and Biology as main subjects. Also candidates must have scored at least an aggregate of 60% marks in the PCB. They do not give major importance to the class 10th marks. But if you do well it will give you confidence to perform good in higher standard. So I will suggest you to keep focus on Biology ,Physics and Chemistry now only if you desire to be a doctor. To get admission in the private institutions for the MBBS course is very much costly. So I will say you to work hard to qualify the AIPMT and AIIMS examination. |

Re: what is the percentage required in class 10 to become a doctor
Your percentage of class 10 will not matter in your path career of becoming a doctor.
Your class 12th percentage will matter most. You will be evaluated by exams like MBBS and BDS etc after class 12th and you will fall into specific college according to your performance in these tests. |
