Re: Can 12th passed candidates give PSC Exam?
The minimum qualification required for UPSC Civil Services Examination or a State PSC
examination is Graduation in any discipline from some recognised university. One can apply during final year of graduation too. If you are so determined for PSC exams then you should start preparation anytime from now. You should do the preparation and graduation in parallel. To begin with the preparation you should first revise the NCERT books of science and arts from 6th to 10th std. You should go on General Knowledge stuffs very well. You should be reading newspapers (Hindu and local newspapers) and magazines on daily basis to stay updated regarding all current happenings. Once you complete the NCERT books and become very good with reading habits then you should select the optional subject for the PSC exam and refer the syllabus for preparation of the optional subject. The syllabus for the exam is published in the exams' advertisement. |
