Can BAMS student practice in Maharashtra? Can Bams write Dr. in-front of their name?

Yes, you are eligible to practice in Maharashtra but you need to follow some procedure which is mentioned below.
- The candidate need to get licence to practice in Ayurveda. - For getting licence you need to register with the CCIM (Central Council of Indian Medicine) through which you can get license to practice Ayurveda all over India. - Firstly register with CCIM then get a licence then start practising all over India. Yes, the candidate who have completed BAMS education can put "Dr" (Doctor) before their name because BAMS is equivalent to MBBS so you can put Dr before your name. |
