AAI Exam is conducted mainly for following post as given below-

Junior Executive(ATC-Air Traffic Controller)

Total seats- 200


Eligibility criteria for Junior Executive post:

-You should have completed full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the disciplines of Electronics/Telecommunications/Information Technology.
OR
-M.Sc. in Physics/Mathematics/Computer Science/Electronics

-You must have secured minimum of 60% or equivalent for Degree.

-Your AGE should not be more than 27 years as on 01/02/2012
(Relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC & 3 years for OBC candidates in upper Age limit)


Selection Procedure for AAI:

The selection shall be made on the basis of:-

-Written Test

-Interview

(Elex). Voice Test to be conducted for Manager (ATC) & Jr. Executive (ATC) at the time of interview. 3. CONCESSIONS FOR SC/ST
a. Upper age limit is relexable by 5 years.
b. No application fee.
c. Candidates not working in Govt./Autonomous Body /PSU will be paid second class rail fare for interview only by shortest route as per AAI rules. 4. CONCESSION FOR OBC
a. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years.
b. OBC certificates should be in the proper format prescribed by the Government of India for Government Services. Caste certificate should be in the prescribed form circulated by Ministry of Personnel & Training Public Grievances and pensions, Department of Pers. & Training, Govt. of India, and must specifically certify that the candidate does not belong to the Persons/Section (Creamy layer) mentioned Col. 3 of the Schedule of
the Govt. of India, Department of Pers. & Training O.M.No. 36012/22/93-Estt. (SCT) dated 08.09.1993.

AAI recruitment notification 2012 has come out only this week for a total of 359 Junior Executives – out of which 200 positions are for Junior Executive (ATC) & 159 positions are for Junior Executive (Electronics). Online submission of form has already began and the last date to apply online as per the notification is 30th March, 2012 although you have to make payment of the application fee within 26th March, 2012.

Airports Authority of India (AAI), which came into existence on 1st April, 1995 by merging erstwhile National Airports Authority and International Airports Authority of India, is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing Civil Aviation infrastructure both on the ground and air space in the country.

AAI Junior Executive Vacancy 2012:
As said, there are a total of 359 Junior Executive vacancies with category-wise break-up as below:
Junior Executive (ATC) Vacancy: GEN:101, OBC:54, SC:30, ST:15, TOT: 200.
Junior Executive (Electronics) Vacancy: GEN:75, OBC:48, SC:22, ST:14, TOT: 159.

Salary for AAI Junior Executives:
AAI is offering salary to Junior Executives in the pay-scale of Rs.16400-3%-40500, with which the CTC per annum would be around Rs. 5 lakhs.

Age Eligibility: Max. 27 years as on 01/02/2012
Age relaxations exists as per Govt. rule.
