I am completed my graduation in chemical engineering in 2011, mumbai university. Let me know weather i can conduct MPSC exam or not? If yes so, from which stream/division? If No so what is another option which is similar to MPSC?

Dear,

MPSC Maharashtra Public Service Commission.This exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to various posts in the Maharashtra Government.

Eligibility criteria for this exam are:

1. Graduation from any recognized University.
2. Minimum age should be 18 for all candidates and maximum is 33 for general, 36 for OBC, 38 for SC/ST and 43 for Physically handicapped candidates.

This exam is onducted in two phase:

1. Preliminary exam: It will consists of Objective questions.
2. Main Exam: It will consists of Written test and Interview.
   Those candidates who have passed the Preliminary exam will only be allowed to write Main exam.

There are also some physical criteria that you need to have for this:

1. Height should be at least 165 cms.
2. Chest should be at least 84cms.

Yes Chemical engineer Graduate can apply for MPSC examination.

One must have following qualifications to apply for MPSC examination:

-Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.

-Age should be between 21 to 33 years if you are general category.

-There is age relaxation available for SC/ST, OBC , PWD and Ex servicemen.

-You must be a domicile of Maharashtra if you want to apply for this examination.

The number of attempts are limited for General and OBC . For SC/ST there is not limit in attempt.

The selection procedure in MPSC will be as follows:

-Preliminary examination

-Mains examination

-Personal Interview

If you are high on merit then you have very good chance of getting selected.
