It may be ₹30000 for the beginners without experience.

its a core branch of engineering and that means its scope would always be there.

You may get placed in Oil and gas sector, IOCL, ONGC, Reliance, Essar, HPCL, BPCL etc
Fertilizers like National fertilizers limited, RCF, IFFCO

Paint and pigments industries like sudarshan chemicals, Asian paints, Nerolac, Burger, BASF etc

Cement Sector like ACC, Ambuja etc

Reserch and development like Bhabha Atomic Reserch Center, Nuclear Power Corporation of India, DRDO, ISRO etc

Salary ranges from company to company. If you get placed in above mentioned company then your annual package would be 5 lakhs to 12 lakhs.
