You have completed engineering degree in 2011 so you are eligible for GATE exam 2016.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then you are eligible for GATE exam 2016. There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria.

The required qualification for GATE exam is

you must have a degree completed from a recognized university.

There is no age limitation regarding GATE exam. There are people who write the exam at the age of 35 also. The GATE exam is not only for getting M.E/M.Tech admission, it is also evaluated to get jobs in PSU (public sector unit). So age doesnt matter here and you can definitely apply for GATE 2016

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and the examination is conducted by the IIT every year for the admission of the candidates in the M.tech courses in IIT,NIT, or other government colleges.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is :-
* Candidates must have passed or pursuing in the 8th semester B.tech/B.E degree from the recognised university.

- Tota Question : 65
- Paper is of total 100 Marks.
- Question 1-25 carrying 1 Marks & 1/3 Nagative mark for each wrong answer
- Question 26-55 carrying 2 Marks & 2/3 Nagative mark for each wrong answer.
- Questiin 56-65 : General Aptitude

- Enrol your Name , Email Id and Mobile Number
- Log In with your Enrolment Id and Password
- Fill the Online Application form
- Upload Image , Signature , Thumb Impression & Required Documents as per instruction
- Make a Payment
- Submit Application
- Print out your application for your reference.
